About Us - Kitty and Chuck Gorrell

Kitty Gorrell... Following 35+ years as an artist and retail business owner, Kitty closed River Front Gallery and retired Homecoming Hues and Art Quest events. Following retirement, she now works as an independent artist and author. The West Virginia Division of Culture and History has presented Kitty with the “Order of the Arts and Historical Letters” award in recognition of outstanding service in the performing and fine arts in West Virginia.

Chuck Gorrell is a retired Vibration Analysis Specialist from Crompton Corporation, a professional picture framer, adult education teacher and co-owner of Gorrell Enterprises. He was co-designer and the sole producer and source for the KG ©Kanvas Karriers, a specialty carrier for transporting wet oil paintings.

Kitty and Chuck worked as a team to host and sponsor both Homecoming Hues and Art Quest educational events for several years in addition to being professional exhibitors at Art Trade Shows around the United States.
